Questions

Questions, answered

Do I need a referral?

Yes. We work with a referral from your doctor or other provider, and we start sessions once it is on file.

Do you bill my insurance?

No. We work with a referral from your doctor or other provider. We do not diagnose. We give you a receipt you can send to your plan, and your plan decides what it pays.

What is a claim number, and do I need one?

If your sessions follow a car or work injury, a claim may already be open. Bring its number and the name of the plan, and we put them on your receipt. Without a claim, the receipt works the same.

How long is a session?

From 30 to 75 minutes. The first session is 60 minutes.

What do I wear?

Whatever you can undress to your comfort from. A sheet covers you the whole session, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.

How do I set the pressure?

We ask before we start. Tell us to go lighter or firmer at any point.

Can I stop a session?

At any time, for any reason. We stop right away.

What if I am running late?

Call us. We shorten the session to the time left so the next client is not kept waiting.

What if my situation has changed?

Check with your doctor or other provider first if your situation has changed since they wrote the referral.

Should I tip?

Tipping is welcome and never expected.

How does pricing work?

It is set by the length of the session and shown on the booking page. The page on how pricing works explains what sets it.

What is the cancellation policy?

24 hours' notice to cancel or move a session. The Policies page has the rest.
